Our body’s internal system needs a PH of just above 7.0 because all of our immunologic, enzymatic and repair mechanisms all function at their best in this more alkaline-leaning range.
If your body becomes too acidic, you may start to experience a combination of the symptoms listed below:
Fatigue
Low energy
Increased allergies
Muscle pain
Headaches
Acid reflux
As acidity levels worsen in the body, additional symptoms may develop, such as:
Confusion
Increased infections
Cardiovascular issues

So if you have the above symptoms and are still eating foods that create acid in the body, you may need to start balancing it out with a more alkaline diet.
Wondering what foods cause acid in the body?
There is a long list of foods that cause the body to be acidic, including but not limited to dairy products, animal meat, most grains, condiments (especially sugar), and aspartame.

To balance your Ph, the remedy is simple and logical. Just eat more alkaline foods 😊!
Fortunately, there’s a lot of foods to choose from to help you raise your ph levels, but a few examples include avocados, broccoli, sea salt, kale, cucumbers, limes and apple cider vinegar.

When your body becomes more alkaline, the changes can be truly amazing! It may even seem magical, but it’s all really very normal.
Some benefits you may soon notice include:
More energy
Needing less sleep
Improved mental acuity, clarity and focus
It’s suggested that 70-80% of one’s diet should be alkaline foods. But just take it one day at a time, adding more greens and specific fruits to your diet while also reducing excess animal meat, dairy products and sugar.
Now all that’s left is to start enjoying how much better you begin to feel, how much more energy you have and how much easier it is to focus on the things that are important to you!

‘Til next time,
Jenn
